Some ideas on supplemental hand strength / grip training: One of the best ways I've found to supplement grip training is to use Fat Gripz on barbells and dumbbells. These are highly recommended! When training kettlebells, Fat Gripz aren't really an option due to the odd shapes of the handles and the swinging motions used during training. Putting on thick work gloves while training with the bells can help create that extra-fat grip (thanks to Mike D for this tip!) Keeping a small grip exerciser in my pocket wherever I go has proven to be a great way to get in extra grip training throughout the day. I'd recommend prohands.net as a starting point.

Also check out Captains Of Crush grippers at Ironmind.com ...they are beastly!! I have a #1 and a #2 that I keep in the car and crush while I drive.

I have seen a few grip things with dials on the side to increase resistance at a sports authority store near me. Almost got some for driving around. I spend a lot of time in my car. Since I have an automatic car I always have a hand free and have been holding hand postures while I drive around. Couldn't decide if I'll get more from one of those things or from alternating holding a fist and an open hand posture like seizing or grasping while I drive. I love getting a nice burn going and feeling like I'm actually accomplishing something. I will look up the grips you suggested. It is a little odd walking around in public holding hand postures without long sleeves to hid them.
